Clamp-In Steel Valve (TR-48E Series)

Clamp-In Steel Valves (TR-48E / TR-Series)

High-Pressure Reliability for Performance and Commercial Wheels.

In the world of high-performance driving and heavy-duty transport, rubber snap-in valves aren't always enough.
When the heat builds up on a highway run or during spirited driving, you need the mechanical security of Clamp-In Steel Valves.
These are the gold standard for high-pressure seals and long-term durability in Malaysia’s demanding environment.

Key Features & Selling Points

  • Mechanical Bolt-On Security: Unlike rubber valves that can perish or pull out under extreme centrifugal force, these steel valves are bolted directly to the rim with a secure nut and high-quality washer.

  • Corrosion Resistant Finish: Built to handle the Malaysian tropical climate. The high-grade steel construction prevents rust and maintains a professional, "shop-fresh" look on alloy wheels.

  • High-Pressure Performance: Ideal for vehicles running higher PSI or those frequently hitting highway speeds. These valves won't "flex" or leak under pressure.

  • Universal 11.3mm Fitment: Designed to fit the standard rim hole (.453") found on the vast majority of aftermarket alloy wheels, performance cars, and light trucks.

🛠️ Tools "GURU" Application Tips!!

Take your wheel service to the next level with these ToolsGURU expert insights:

  1. The Performance Upgrade: If a customer comes in with a modified car or high-end aftermarket rims, always recommend a Clamp-In Steel Valve. It’s a small upsell that provides significantly more safety and a much more "premium" look than a standard black rubber valve.

  2. Torque it Right: When installing the TR48E series, do not over-tighten the nut. Tighten it until the rubber grommet is compressed firmly against the rim to create a perfect air-tight seal. Over-tightening can damage the seal.

  3. 90° Advantage (TR67E): For heavy vehicles or motorcycles where the brake disc makes it hard to reach the valve, the TR67E (90-degree) is a life-saver. It allows for easy pressure checks without burning your hands on hot brakes.

  4. Seal Integrity: Always ensure the rim hole is clean and free of burrs or old rubber residue before clamping in the new steel valve. A clean surface is the secret to a "Zero-Leak" job
