Straight Tire Lever Bar Series (16" - 24")

Straight Tire Lever Bar Series (16" - 24")

The Bread and Butter of Every Malaysian Tyre Shop.

From motorcycles and passenger cars to light commercial vans, a reliable straight tyre lever is the most used tool in the workshop. The ToolsGURU Straight Lever series is engineered for the technician who demands a tool that won't flex, bend, or snap when the pressure is on. Available in five essential lengths to suit every wheel size in the Malaysian market.

Key Features & Selling Points

  • Precision Forged Carbon Steel: These aren't your average "DIY" bars. Each lever is heat-treated for maximum tensile strength, ensuring they handle the high-leverage demands of stiff sidewall tyres (like Run-Flats or 4x4 MT tyres) without deforming.

  • Optimal Tip Geometry: The "spoon" end is precision-ground to be thin enough to slip under the tightest beads, yet rounded enough to prevent pinching the inner tube or gouging the alloy rim.

  • Five Strategic Lengths: * 16" & 18": Perfect for Motorcycles, ATVs, and compact passenger cars (Perodua Axia/Myvi).

    • 20" & 22": The standard "All-Rounder" for SUVs, 4x4s, and standard passenger sedans.

    • 24": The "Big Brother" for light trucks, lorries, and stubborn large-diameter rims where maximum leverage is required.

  • Anti-Corrosion Finish: Fully plated to resist rust and chemical stripping from tyre soaps and lubricants used in local workshops.

🛠️ Tools "GURU" Application Tips!!

Maximize your efficiency with these ToolsGURU expert insights:

  1. The "Two-Bar" Technique: Never try to force a tyre with just one lever. Use a 16" or 18" bar to "hold" the bead open, and a longer 22" or 24" bar to do the heavy prying. This prevents the bead from snapping back and saves your energy.

  2. Protect the Alloy: For high-end alloy wheels (like those on a BMW or modified Honda), always use a rim protector or a piece of leather between the GURU lever and the rim. Our tips are smooth, but the pressure required can still mark a soft painted finish.

  3. Drop Center Secret: Before you start prying, ensure the opposite side of the tyre bead is pushed down into the "drop center" (the deepest part) of the rim. This gives you the extra millimeters of slack you need to pop the bead over the edge without straining the tool.

  4. Leverage over Strength: If you find yourself sweating and struggling, you’re likely using a bar that's too short. Switch up to the 24" GURU Lever—the extra 4 inches of length provides significantly more "torque," making the job effortless.
